A beautifully restored century old farm house in the heart of North Carolina Wine and Amish Country The 1910 Somers House is a beautifully restored turn of the century farm house situated on 6 acres in the western heartland of North Carolina and bordering the eastern edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It's a two story home, approximately 3500 square feet and has 10 foot ceilings throughout the first floor. 100-year old heartwood pine adorns the main living space and frames the grand stairway leading up from the elongated foyer that runs from the front to the back of the home. Make yourself at home in the yellow country kitchen with over sized red painted cabinets. Stay overnight in our three unique bedroom en suites Enjoy a long soak in one of our two over sized claw foot tubs. Located 3 miles off Route 421 one exit west from Interstate 77, the property is an easily accessible retreat surrounded by beautiful vineyards, wineries, antique shops, Amish stores, and general stores.
